• Returning to Childhood in Seoul

Back to my Korea trip in July! 4 months has passed since my trip and boy, I am missing Korea so badly. Everyone of us woke up to an empty and growling stomach. Butterfinger Pancakes to save the morning! When I said I haven’t tried Butterfinger Pancakes before, I received gasps from my friends who couldn’t believe me missing out on the goodness. Please do not belittle the quantity. As much as the 5 of us wanted to stuff these delicious plates of food into our stomach, we simply couldn’t anymore. I felt like if I had continue stuffing, I’d need to loosen the button on my shorts. If you haven’t tried (gasp at you) and…

  • Running Man EP262: Taxi Drivers’ Restaurant Race [02]

I am back with Part 2 of the Taxi Drivers’ Restaurant Race broadcast on 30 August 2015! This post has taken longer than expected because I went overseas for a short trip and busy with work. Yeah, all the excuses. It’s plainly because I was lazy. A whole lot of pictures in this post, so less words. Yay for you! Hope you are full when reading this post though. Or you’ll end up like me, always taking a break from the post to fill my tummy with meat. Are you ready? Let’s go! Gary, Haha and Nam Bora were first brought to eat Kimchi Stew (김치찌개) at a restaurant near Hongdae.…

  • Running Man EP262: Taxi Drivers’ Restaurant Race [01]

It took me some time to come up with this post because I usually write at night when it’s all peaceful and quiet to pen my thoughts, but having to look at all these food photos are apparently too much for my mental state to fight the hunger pangs.  The same reason why I don’t follow foodie accounts on Instagram. Episode 262 of Running Man is a race where members board a random taxi and have the driver recommend a dish. If the dish coincides with the team’s previously chosen dish, the team wins. Else, the team will have to eat whatever dish the driver recommended, before boarding the next taxi. This…

  • Let’s Eat 2: Strawberry Feast

TvN drama has been attaining more and more attention recently on their drama. One in particular that I got hooked on was “Let’s Eat (식샤를 합시다)”. It is about the lives of four single people hungry for food and love. From the drama title, you can probably guess that the drama focuses a lot on food. Due to the love from audience, there was season 2 “Let’s Eat 2  (식샤를 합시다 2)” filmed and the broadcast just recently ended, sadly. On one hand, I’m glad I no longer have cravings after every broadcasted episode, and in turn gain weight from this. The food looks so delicious and tasty in the drama…

  • Running Man EP249 Film Site: Jjajangmyeon (짜장면)

Following my last post on Running Man’s Episode 249 featuring After School’s UEE, I’m back with more filming site of that particular episode. In the episode, the cast of Running Man are split into 5 locations to taste different types of Jjajangmyeon (짜장면). I’ll be sharing with you the 5 restaurants they went. Song JiHyo and Kim JongKook chose the White Jjajangmyeon (백짜장). The usual dish is made with black bean sauce. The store they visited doesn’t make this with any black bean sauce at all. You can now eat Jjajangmyeon on days you are wearing white! No more fear of black stains on your white shirt. The restaurant is…

  • Running Man EP249 Film Site: dal.komm Coffee

Not sure if you’ve watched the latest episode of Running Man, broadcasted on 31 May 2015. This is the episode that features UEE of After School. I was feeling bored from my drama film site research and decided to look for the cafe where Running Man held their introduction for this episode. So full of sense covering the cafe name with their signature R sticker. A close up of how the logo looks like with the sticker. The cafe dal.komm Coffee is located in Gwanghwamun, walking distance from the subway station. This cafe has a lot of outlets but my directions are pointing to the exact filming site of this…

  • Bojeong-dong Café Street

If you’ve been watching Korean drama, the drama “Gentleman’s Dignity (신사의 품격)” is one you shouldn’t miss. It is a light hearted drama that talks about the love life of four men in their forties. Yes, you might think men in forties are old uncles and nothing enticing in the drama. You are wrong. One of the 4 male leads is Jang Dong Gun! CNBlue guitarist, Lee Jonghyun is also one of the fixed cast. Kim Woobin appears once in a while. Even CNBlue leader, Yong Hwa made a special appearance in one of the episodes. So much eye candies to look out for! When watching the drama, I couldn’t…

  • S.M Entertainment

It is now customary that I will pay S.M Entertainment at least one visit, every time I visit Seoul. The surprises you get of not knowing who you will meet there is exhilarating. Like I mentioned earlier, artists I’ve met so far include Girls Generation (SooYoung Yoona Sunny Jessica Hyoyeon Taeyeon…etc) and DBSK (Yunho). Today, I’m going to share on how to go to S.M Entertainment! Before you rejoice, I must first warn you how far the building is from the subway station. My pictures are all screenshots using Google Map so no complaints on the quality of the pictures please. Take subway line 3 and alight at Apgujeong Station, exit 2. Turn…
