BEAST, remains the same no matter how much changes take place

There are many groups that maintain close relationships with fans. However, BEAST and their fandom BEAUTY maintain a relationship that is above a close relationship.
Although 8 years has passed in a blink of eye, it is obvious the road they walked was not easy. Not only sharing the joy and happiness, BEAST and BEAUTY also underwent sadness and difficulties together.
BEAST announced comeback a year later, after undergoing member change on 4th July. With the pursuit of original colours and not mixing any other colours, they released the third full album ‘HIGHLIGHT’. The first song ‘Butterfly’ topped 7 digital music charts the moment it was released, once again proving a box office success.
‘Ribbon’ is likewise the same. Since release of third full album’s title song ‘Ribbon’, it stood on 1st place of 8 digital music charts for a long period of time. Of course for music broadcast, BEAST occupied first position for 5 consecutive weeks on Melon Weekly Awards with ‘Ribbon’, proving their presence in the exceptionally competitive music industry.
BEAST’s solo concert ‘2016 the Beautiful Show’ was held on 20th and 21st. Although I have covered many singers’ concerts previously, I am unable to find suitable words to express what I felt after stepping out from BEAST’s concert.
I can’t say their concert is excessively fanciful. However, their concert has commitments towards each other and overflowing sincerity. These feelings were also conveyed to all the audience who filled up the venue.
Especially Son Dongwoon’s sincere ment with his eyes reddened with tears, “There are decisions that have to be made in one’s life, there are many inevitable decisions that have to be made. Because of these, everyone has their own deciding factor. Worried about what has to be done in order for people to like, and fighting with a lot of people because people will not like if certain things are done. In the past, we seem to be sharing joy and happiness. Now, as we too share sadness and difficulties, I think we have come to share a stronger and tighter relationship. In the 7~8 years, although we have a lot of painful matters in the past and there might be more in the future, it would be good if we can share these together. We seem to have fully developed a relationship to such an extent.”
After covering the event, on my way back, their sincere tears and heartfelt feelings from their ment on the stage are still lingering before my eyes, in my ears.
The feeling that there is no one walking in the front, everyone’s footsteps aligned, BEAST and BEAUTY emit this feeling exactly. Every now and then, BEAST or BEAUTY might miss a step, the feeling of holding each other’s hand so the other party can catch up, without getting lost.
To them, there might be changes but it remains unchanged. There might be times that they regard the presence of each other for granted. However they are thankful for each other’s presence, just like the past, and became more united than ever.
In the upcoming October, the contract between CUBE Entertainment and group BEAST will come to an end. BEAST that underwent one change, might have to undergo another change. However what change may come, the constant is the trust between BEAST and BEAUTY.
